Tonino Fogarizzu is a skilled carpenter able to work wood with great precision and special attention to detail. His laboratory is located in Pattada, in the province of Sassari, surrounded by a territory where woods and lakes form the backdrop to a town of three thousand inhabitants, which has its strong point in craftsmanship, like the tradition of the knife in serramanico “Sa Resolza *” famous throughout the world.
Tonino started his career very early, at the age of sixteen he was already working under the wise guidance of several carpenters of the time, learning all the basic techniques and in a short time became independent starting his own business. Today he is joined by his wife Anna and their children Enrico and Laura who continually bring new inspiration and new life to the business.
A tireless worker of wood in all its forms, his work stands out for its precision and attention to detail, finishes and painting.
His production is varied, from furniture to kitchens, from tables to bookcases, chests, racks, doors and windows; his great passion is the restoration and reproduction of antique furniture and tools of the past.
We have selected for you some creations such as cutting boards, trays and other utensils that were once objects of daily use and that today can be appreciated as furnishing accessories.
We invite you to meet this skilled craftsman, a perfectionist of detail.
* Sa resolza was and still is, the traditional Pattada knife.
